Accountant/Reconciliation Officer

JOB OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE FIVE STAR INSURANCE SERVICES LTD. Job Title: Accountant/Reconciliation Officer Job Responsibilities • Examine and analyze financial information • Present findings (written and verbal) to senior management and Directors Support business profitability and growth through findings and recommendations • Prepare month end and year end reports • Preparation of MIS reports weekly, monthly & quarterly as required by Management • Analyze current accounting systems, making suggestions for enhancements where needed • Ensure the business follows all required legislation • Prepare and submit statutory returns and requirement from the Regulatory Bodies. (VAT, PAYE, NSSF and any other) • Liaise with internal & external auditors • Budgeting & forecasting • Prepare all relevant financial reports • Monthly Bank reconciliation. • Quarterly reconciliation of Books of Accounts with Insurance Companies • Maintenance of all books of account. And accounts finalization. • Interact with clients on the phone, email, and in person Qualification: ACCA Affiliate or CPA Member or any other professional Certification. Minimum Bachelors Skills and Experience: • Minimum 2 year of Accounting experience essential with experience in managing multiple reconciliations. • Sound knowledge of Excel, and Tally accounting system preferable • Understanding and respect for deadlines and to deliver accurate and timely information • A proactive, forward looking and challenging mindset. • Detail focused with strong organization and planning skills. • Working experience with insurance companies or Brokerage Companies will be preferable.
